Barrel is made from durable 4150 chrome moly vanadium, 5.56 NATO Chamber, 1 in 9 twist 6-groove, stress-relieved, turned on center for precision accuracy and functioning, head spaced and parkerized. Barrel includes (M4 cut feedramps) extension, alignment pin, gas port hole drilled at mid-gas length, utillizing a .750 dia gas block Gas block/FSB (not included; sold separately) Nitro Carburized*

*Nitro carburized interior and exterior finish which is also applied to the barrel extension and gas port during heat treating and creates a monolithic black finish that is superior to hard chrome. The process does not add material to the internal dimension of the bore, increasing surface hardness to between 58-65 HRC, lowering bore friction, enhancing surface lubricity, improving running wear performance, enhancing corrosion resistance and heat resistance over industrial hard chrome.

Barrel is not chrome lined.
